Summary

Marine insurance broker with 10 years` experience and key skills in risk management programs for automotive logistics, project cargoes, very thief attractive commodities and niche markets like oversized cargoes as well as focused on management and prevention of cargo claims.

I try to look for a fresh approach when it comes to the risk. That’s have been the main driving reasons behind creating an launching an all-risk solution for automotive logistic companies. The scope of cover which has not been heard before in the market has warmly accepted by majority of car carriers from Baltics. Also, I don’t believe in making simple things more complicated that’s why I’ve put a great support in developing on-line cargo underwriting system that has simplified the underwriting model of cargo insurance. All this has brought me experience and knowledge which me and my colleagues try to share by holding annual trainings and distributing quarterly newsletters on cargos risk management.

What`s is like for me to be a marine insurance broker. It`s being the first when it comes to innovations as every case needs unique approach and being the last to call a day because you never know when you will get next challenging cargo. It`s about chasing premiums and profits in equal measure but also respecting the risk because a simple cargo is never simple enough. Marine insurance it`s all about passion and curiosity.
